When this journey began over four years ago, I sensed it would be a rich one. But I could never have imagined how truly extraordinary it would be. In stitching together the fabric of my films, I have had the good fortune to meet empowered women from all corners of the country; women who welcomed us into their homes and shared the intimate details of their lives with us because they believed that someone, somewhere, might benefit from their experiences. It is my sincere hope that through these stories and examples seen in our documentaries more women will discover a new awareness of their own self-esteem.

I Am Beautiful

It all started with a question. "Tell us why you're beautiful." Responses came from women of all shapes, sizes, ages and backgrounds. I Am Beautiful contains the inspiring stories of six extraordinary women and a long list of celebrities who share intimate moments from their personal self-esteem journeys. Hosted by Meredith Vieira, the film takes an in-depth look at the experiences that shape our self-esteem image, providing us with a unique perspective on who we are, how we perceive ourselves, and what we have to teach each other, our daughters and our granddaughters in the years ahead about our own true beauty.

A hard look at today's teens and their struggle for self-esteem within a media-driven world filled with challenges. The film goes into the classrooms, lunchrooms, locker rooms, and bedrooms of five teenage girls, playing witness to what makes some strong and confident, and others meek and troubled, interspersed with teen celebs talking about the challenges they have faced and how they overcame them.

In addition, we will take this discussion to an international audience, exploring the self-esteem issues women struggle with in other parts of the world.
