SUZIE GALLER

Suzie Galler, president of Muse Entertainment and creator of The Esteemed Woman project, is the director and producer of the Esteemed Woman series of films, "I Am Beautiful," "I Am My Mother's Daughter," and "You Go, Girl!" With over 19 years of experience in the entertainment industry, she began her career as a Post Production Executive for CBS and moved on to the advertising and promotional arena, producing on-air campaigns for three major networks, prominent movies and mini-series. After a year of producing theatrical campaigns as an executive for Disney's New Wave Production, Suzie moved to the east coast and formed her own production company, creating award-winning advertising campaigns for numerous clients including Hallmark Entertainment, the History Channel, NBC International, and CBS International to name a few, before making the move to long-form programming.

As CEO of Galler West Productions, she was commissioned by CBS/Fox to write, direct and produce a one-hour documentary on the making and restoration of "My Fair Lady" entitled More Loverly than Ever, the Making of My Fair Lady Then and Now. The laser disc version of the program, also produced by Galler West, went on to win a place as one of the top-ten laser discs of the year by Rolling Stone and Video Magazines.

Suzie was then commissioned by Lifetime Television to produce three "Intimate Portraits" for its critically acclaimed series. She wrote, directed and produced Audrey Hepburn: An Intimate Portrait; Sally Field: An Intimate Portrait; and Bette Davis: An Intimate Portrait. Her "Intimate Portrait" of Audrey Hepburn was awarded the ITVA's Vision Award.

A strong advocate of quality children's programming, Suzie has developed and produced three children's programs in the last three years. A two-part series, Rock, Paper, Scissors, Shoot! aired last Christmas on Connecticut Public Television, and her home video series The Storycrafters won the "Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Award" for excellence in children's programming. She just completed production of a unique children's travel program, Kids Rule for New York's Metro Channel. In addition, Suzie recently produced and directed a segment for NBC's new pilot My True Story due to air next spring.

Suzie formed Muse Entertainment for the development and production of long-form women's programming.
